Creating attractive video pages is within any company’s reach, says TVPage. The San Diego, California-based startup is hoping to attract online video marketers with attractively designed templates for online video. Marketers can choose one of the many templates (the shopping template is shown here, displaying items for purchase under the video), import their YouTube videos, and then customize the look of the page. The finished page is versatile, as marketers can plug it into their company’s site or put it on their Facebook page.
There’s a lot to like about TVPage, which cleverly imports a customer’s existing videos into a pleasing template. The company offers templates designed to strengthen brand identity, spotlight one video, or show off a range of videos.
TVPage has made getting started easy, since use of the Community Edition is free. The Community Edition gets you 2 TVPages which can be embedded an unlimited number of times. There’s no risk to try it out. Companies that like it can upgrade to the Standard Edition, which gives them 5 TVPages for $125 per month. This edition lets companies add calls to action to their pages and link to products (TVPage works with Magento, Volusion, and Shopify retail services). It also includes email support and has no TVPage branding.
Adding a video page to a site is a great way to surface a large YouTube library, and TVPage seems to make it easy. Give the free edition a try and see if your hits and sales increase.
