The people behind the online collaborative video editor WeVideo just don’t know how to relax. In May of this year we told you about several new features to the service, including full-screen mode and video tutorials. Now, the WeVideo team is back with a new round of improvements. If exchanging video files is a hassle in your office, consider how an online collaborative editor could make your workflow easier.
Here’s what’s new with WeVideo:
Simple sharing: WeVideo has always let users share videos with team members, but what if you want to share a video with someone outside your team? Now you can. Make that video page public and you can now send a link to a friend. They can watch your video on a desktop, tablet, or smartphone. WeVideo will even let you embed your video in a blog thanks to a customizable embed option.
Storyboard audio control: WeVideo has a simpler storyboard editing mode and a more advanced timeline editing mode. Timeline already has audio level control and now storyboard does, as well. Editors using storyboard can now adjust the volume of music tracks.
Better webcam recording: Recording online videos with a webcam is an increasingly popular option. WeVideo now makes it easier to review those recordings, and has added a tool for adjusting the webcam video quality level.
Android app updates: Editors using the WeVideo Android app will now get better audio control; support for the Samsung S2, Samsung S4, and Google Nexus 7; a redesigned home screen, and other user interface improvements and tweaks.
Besides those features, WeVideo has added more tutorial videos on YouTube (shown here) to help you get started, as well as an editing FAQ.
