ooVoo Introduces Watch Together, a Feature for Work or Play

People know ooVoo as a popular video chat took, like Skype, but thanks to a product released at the International CES show in Las Vegas, Nevada, it now has a place with businesses, as well.
The people at ooVoo chose CES 2013 to unveil Watch Together, a new feature that lets video chatters all watch the same YouTube video at once. Some things are best shared, and the Watch Together feature lets groups easily call up a YouTube video and watch it as though they were in the same room. In fact, Watch Together lets up to 11 people share a video.
It’s a nice feature, you might be thinking, but what does it have to do with business? Those shared YouTube videos could be on anything: they could be training videos or human resource videos. They could be test edits of a new commercial or footage taken at a recent conference. Remember that when you upload videos to YouTube you have the option of keeping them private. You can upload confidential business clips without opening them up to the world.
To use the Watch Together feature, all the chatters will need to download the free ooVoo for Desktop client. So far Watch Together is only available for Windows desktop users , but here’s hoping it expands to Macs and mobile devices soon.
