Market7’s Collaboration Service Goes Mobile

Market7’s real-time collaboration service can now go anywhere its users go. The company has announced full mobile support for its video.market7.com service, so it’s accessible on Apple iOS and Google Android devices.

The service lets creative teams coordinate and script video projects collaboratively. New functions have been added to the Annotative Player module, which is used for team review and communication on media content.

New features to the Annotative Player include multi-device playback (so that video automatically plays in either HTML5 or Flash video), improved video resolution, dynamic streaming (so users can immediately play from any spot in a video), and full-feature scaling (messaging and interactive features are available even when playing virtually full-screen).

Other new features include an improved look and feel for mobile and faster transcoding, so that uploaded videos are available immediately.

“Market7 is fulfilling customer demands about uploading and accessing any format of video, from any location and on any device, consistent with the increasingly mobile and multi-platform ways we all use internet services,” says Market7 CEO Seth Kenvin. “Media professionals and their production processes are especially dynamic, and more mobile support along with other advances of our Annotative Player further strengthens Market7’s solution for making better video content more efficiently through enhanced collaboration.”
