Kyte Lets Customers Record and Upload from their BlackBerry

Kyte is once again extending the reach of its 360° video platform, and this time the beneficiaries are BlackBerry owners. Today, Kyte launched Kyte Mobile Producer for BlackBerry, which lets customers record, upload, and distribute video and photos in real-time from their BlackBerry devices.

The announcement is a win for site owners who want to add on-the-fly videos and photos to their sites. Videos can be instantly published and will display to viewers using any kind of device. Photos can be uploaded directly from your gallery.

“Ease of use and flexibility is incredibly important to our customers as they look to quickly and easily produce and distribute compelling video content,” says Gannon Hall, Kyte’s CEO.

“Fox News has been using Kyte Mobile Producer for iPhone to broadcast first-person accounts from events around the world, demonstrating the power and utility of real-time mobile video production for news organizations. Our new Mobile Producer for BlackBerry expands this capability to BlackBerry users, who make up a significant portion of our media and enterprise customers,” says Hall.

Kyte is a cloud-based online video platform that serves live and on-demand video. Customers include ABC, Armani Exchange, Clear Channel, and NATO.
