BlackbaudTV Delivers Videos for Nonprofits

If you work in the nonprofit industry, check out the newly launched BlackbaudTV. Created by the people at Blackbaud Inc., which provides software and services to nonprofit organizations, BlackbaudTV is a video resource just for nonprofits.

Videos on the site are broken into four categories: news, technology, philanthropy, and community. The site will also broadcast live events starting with select sessions from the upcoming Blackbaud 2010 Conference for Nonprofits—North America.

To celebrate the site’s launch, Blackbaud is holding a contest for inspirational videos. Nonprofit professionals are asked to submit a video that answers the question, “How do you inspire supporters to take action?”

Everyone who enters a video will be eligible to win one of two free registrations to the North American conference, as well as one of two Apple iPads. The drawing will be held October 21. You can learn more about the contest at www.blackbaud.tv/Inspire.

“BlackbaudTV is a nonprofit video portal, enabling nonprofits and those passionate about a cause to interact with peers, learn, share, and raise awareness through video,” says Mary Beth Natarajan, director of corporate communications at Blackbaud. “Launching BlackbaudTV with a contest is exciting because we are getting nonprofits involved in video making. We’re not looking for the perfect delivery or the best picture quality—we’re just looking for nonprofits to share a video on how they inspire action.”
