You can’t deny the power of Facebook. That’s where your audience is, that’s where your fans are, so shouldn’t you be serving video there, too?
To help people and organizations create their own video channels on Facebook, Dyyno today launched an integrated video platform that makes live and on-demand streaming simple. Dyyno customers can install the Dyyno Live Video Streaming app into their Facebook account, then share their videos with followers.
Because Facebook is a social site, Dyyno’s solution is full of sharing options. Videos offer Facebook’s Like and Share buttons, and can be shared by default, although clients can also password-protect them and opt to limit sharing.
Facebook video should appeal to a variety of customers, says Vamshi Sriperumbudur, Dyyno’s head of marketing. He says TV stations, faith-based organizations, and comedians have all shown interest in supplying videos to their followers.
Dyyno is offering ad-supported and subscription levels of service. The free model lets you store 1GB of video, about four hours’ worth, and Dyyno will serve ads to your viewers using the Adap.TV advertising network. Customers can also choose to offer their videos by subscription, using a PayPal front end.
“Businesses can not only increase viewership and monetize video content through the Dyyno Facebook app, but also improve engagement among fans and viewers by playing high-quality live and on-demand videos within Facebook,” says Raj Jaswa, Dyyno’s CEO and president.
